Samsung Galaxy Note 8 heads to Mobile World Congress 2013
One of the most eagerly anticipated shows in the world of mobile phones and gadgetry is the ‘World Mobile Congress’ (MWC) which is being held from 25th to 28th February 2013. This show which is expected to draw the attention of a host of mobile fans will be held at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain. This exhibition is a mobile gadgetry aficionados’ paradise and will be Mecca for all mobile enthusiasts that will congregate to view the latest and most exciting offers from across the world in the areas of mobile phones and equipment. There will be a host of new launches and releases at this prestigious show all of which will compete for viewer’s attention. Among the many global mobile manufacturers displaying their latest offerings, Samsung has confirmed one special release which will surely cause quite a stir at the Mobile World Congress 2013.
Samsung has announced that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be their most significant contribution at the show which is coming in to compete in the ever expanding mobile market. J K Shin, Head of Samsung Mobile has confirmed the unveiling of this tablet, though he has given mobile fans very little information as to features and other specifications to dwell upon till official launch. Samsung Note 8 which will be the cynosure of all attention at MWC is expected to run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with 1280 x 800 pixel display. It will also possess a 5 mega pixel rear camera and 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera along with 2GB of RAM. This tablet, once officially launched, will make its way between the existing Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
Galaxy Note 8 Specs
Over the past years, Samsung has released tablets varying in sizes from 7.0, 7.7, 8.9 and 10.1 inches. Its upcoming Galaxy Note 8 will be also known as Samsung GT-N5100. This imminent model will be launched with an 8 inch display and will a quad core 1.6 GHz processor. It is expected to come out in a choice of the following two versions:
- Wi-Fi (GT-N5100) – A 3G + Wi-Fi version
- Cellular (GT-5110) – A Wi-Fi version exclusively
